How do I get Salvation.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 (KJV)
Doing Good Works Cannot Save You.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph 2:8-9 (KJV)
You must trust in the Lord Jesus Christ! Here is what you must do according to the Bible:
1- You must admit that you are a sinner.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:10 (KJV)
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23 (KJV)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12 (KJV)
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:10 (KJV)
2- Repent, turn from your sin.
” I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:5 (KJV)
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38 (KJV)
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19 (KJV)
” Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.” Acts 8:22 (KJV)
3- Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ with all thy heart, that he died for your sins, and rose from the dead and is currently at the right hand of God making intercession for you.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18 (KJV)
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8 (KJV)
“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.” Mark 16:19 (KJV)
“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8:34 (KJV)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 (KJV)
4- Pray, invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and heart.
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10 (KJV)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 (KJV)
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor 5:17 (KJV)
What to PRAY:
Heavenly Father, Loving God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that my Lord and Saviour Jesus, my Christ shed His precious blood, suffered and died on the cross for my sins. Heavenly Father, I will turn from sin, and live my life according to your law and word. I now invite my Lord and Saviour Jesus, my Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Amen.
After you are saved, my brother and sister in Christ, you need to find a good Bible teaching and preaching church to Join. You need to read your Bible every day, Pray every day without ceasing, be Baptized in accordance with Romans: 6:3-5, and share the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour with all you know.
